Spencer’s String Studio is owned by Michael Neville Spencer. These following terms set forth the terms and conditions of purchase of services offered by us.

 

Lessons are taught at 10 Lyrebird Court, Werribee by Michael Neville Spencer. Except when online lessons have been booked, students are required to attend this location during the purchased booking time to receive their educational service.

 

During a booked lesson and attending the business location, the student is under the owner’s duty of care. This is covered under the business’ Public Liability Insurance. The owner, Michael Neville Spencer, holds a current Working With Children Check. Supervision is provided throughout the lesson time. Outside of the lesson time, supervision cannot be offered, so children must be dropped off and picked up on time.

An online lesson can only offer limited supervision and duty of care.

 

Any changes to the booking, such as rescheduling or cancellation, must be requested at least 24 hours before the session time. If less than 24 hours notice is given, a makeup lesson will be arranged. If no lesson can be arranged in a reasonable time (such as one month), or the session is unattended without any prior notice given, the booking may not be credited or refunded.

 

If the owner must cancel due to illness, injury, or for whatever reason, the lesson will be rescheduled (within the regular booking times available) or refunded at the customer’s preference.

 

Bookings are strictly paid for at the time of booking.
